Increasing the attack range would be nice since the slimes seem to have a higher attack range then me, so i basicallyhave to press attack button the frame before the slime touches me. or so it feels at least
okay,rephrase that:
collision detection is kind of weird.
you hit the enemy if they are a very certain distance away from you. then they get closer, you hit nothing.
then, when they are like a frame away from touching you, the attack hits again (well at least it does in some cases...).
not sure why things are that weird but hit detection feels unreliable for some reason...
the fork is relatively long, so I would expect ahit if it touches the enemy in any way
If you are pressing attack it's going to act unreliable. It was designed to have the attack button held down. I will look into this though...thanks for the feedback.
oh, okay. I would have assumed that one would have to kind of time the attackand then ress the button. jsut holding it sounds way easier, indeed :-)
